This post is in no way to offend other mommies. It is my own personal feelings. I am only looking for support and kind words from this wonderful & supportive community 😌...So here it goes...I am scheduled to be induced with my first pregnancy on Thursday. I did everything (or so I thought) right to ensure that I would have a healthy pregnancy and natural labor. My pregnancy has been nothing but perfect and healthy and wonderful, but why could I not induce labor naturally? I still have a couple days to go into labor naturally, but I want to emotionally prepare myself for my induction. I honestly feel like such a failure to my boyfriend and my little girl that I may not have her without being induced. It honestly makes me feel like less of a woman and a mother. && that breaks my heart because all I ever wanted in life is to be a mother 💔

Being induced does not make you less of a women or a mother. Things just happen. Just because you aren't going into labor naturally doesn't mean something is wrong or you are unhealthy. Everything could be perfect and you still need to be induced because your baby just isn't ready to come out yet so he or she needs a little push to get things going. Millions of women are induced. I had a perfectly healthy pregnacy and had to be induced. All it is, is getting your contractions going and getting labor into place.

I learned the hard way after trying everything, if baby isn't ready, baby won't come. You can do all of the things and not progress a single bit. I'm unsure why being induced makes you feel like you failed? As long as your baby gets here happy and healthy that's all that matters. Your due date can also be off by as much as 2 weeks. I was induced, I chose to be though. I had an easy complication free labor and birth. You can also wait until you're closer to 42 weeks to be induced. You can turn it down for the time being and see if she comes on her own.

Многодетная мама (5 детей)
Let me tell you, I've had them come naturally, I've had my water break on its own, I've had the doctor break my water. I've had a breach birth, I have been induced. I have give birth to 5 kids. It don't matter how they get out as long as they are out!!! I've never had a c section but if you do you still had a baby and your still a mom! Don't sweat the small details. You have more important things to worry about then how your baby came out. And that goes for adopting kids. It just don't matter how you get them. Once you have them, love them!!

Girl. Stop. The fact that it's hurting you this much really shows how much you care❣️ but you need to stop !!! Lol. Shit happens. You aren't a failure I promise you that💕. This is all signs of how great of a mother you will be!! I planned on going natural with no meds until I was home laboring for 4 days stuck at 3cm 😑 I almost hugged my anesthesiologist who did my epi😂😂😂😂 I thought I'd have her that day... nope. Overnight on pitocin before it happened. Let me tell you. All this is gonna be irrelevant when that baby is in your arms. Remind yourself as long as she's healthy and baby is healthy that's what matters❤. Labor isn't what makes you more or less of a woman. Taking care of that baby, from pregnancy forward, loving her, the sleepless nights, the emotions, that's what makes you a mother and a real woman. And I can tell you're 100% both. Stay up baby girl ❤ you're gonna be great!!! Xo

I know how you feel. My induction was talked about but never planned. I was admitted to the hospital in an "emergency" situation because of my blood pressure and didn't have a choice of what was going to happen. I was terrified, told the nurse i didn't want to be induced/never thought it was going to happen. Once my nerves calmed down and I was in my room with my nurses and Dr I was like "if this is what safely brings my son into the world then this is what it's going to have to be" the process went smoothly, took a long long time for me to go into labor, but once I did it was so fast and then my baby was here and that made everything worth it. You're still a great momma, and a great woman, you created this baby! 💖💖
