Has anyone ever used evening primrose oil (orally) to help bring on labor?

I did both orally and vaginally 4 days after I started I was in labor....I don't know if it was just the primrose oil or the fact my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time all pregnancy or a mix of both that sent me into labor I believe it helped though

I was 1cm from 34 weeks to 38 when I went into labor lol
