I love my mom 👭💕 she's gonna throw me a baby shower herself and said to have my god mom throw me one too. So now I'm having two. And I can invite my friends, men, and kids to my second one. My little Rakeia is gonna feel so loved knowing she had two baby showers full of people that love her and couldn't wait to see her.
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

Is it a big deal to throw your own baby shower?? It is me and my mom putting it together. I have many that offered to help. But two of them I have not talked to that are willing to help since before christmas.
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤
