I'm pulling my hair out. I started weaning nala at 4 months but then she went off her food and just stuck to milk. I'm trying to give her porridge but she hates textures 🙁and also hates smooth baby food/purée wat am I suppose to do. She mainly on milk but I'm trying to cut down. She eats food with me but not enough to get full
I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
I'm a breastfeeding mother & I hate when family or friends come over because it messes up my breastfeeding bond with baby, so then I'm forced to give her pumped breast milk & I'm left with engorged boobs because I cannot breastfeed or pump ... don't you hate when people try to wake up your newborn while your trying to put her to sleep 💁
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
How did yalls little ones respond to baby food?! I'm trying apple baby food and Adrienne is not having it! Well I can't tell if she is because she's excited when she sees the bowl but moves away when I try to feed her. Who doesn't like apples?!?!?
I can't believe it My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months. She text me this morning saying that she was going to come and get her stuff soon, and I asked her if I could have her air mattress. She tried to charge me $60 for it. The air mattress sells new for $35 on amazon and she didn't even pay $60 for it. I didn't respond and she just text me saying the $60 was for a microwave she bought me and her air mattress. When she got the microwave, it was a gift. Then when my son was in the hospital from October to January out of town, I was going to get my internet service turned off until I returned home. My cousin was doing school work online, so I paid for it while I was away so she could use it. I'm trying to figure out a response to her. ?

As @littleelf85 Look up baby led weaning. I'm mainly doing that with Max & did a mix of that & puree with my eldest. Max doesn't eat lumps, even tiny lumps well but give him whole food & he's fine! I chop up fruit & veg so he can hold them easily. Dinner I just give him how we eat it. He holds it & munches away.

Don't worry too much about if she's eating a large portion. As long as she's eating something she'll eat more as she gets older. I offer snacks in between meals as well if Max is seeming hungry to keep him going to a mealtime.

Deffo recommend baby led weaning :) some babies dont like puree (Maya doesnt) xx

I agree with the baby led weaning I done it with frankie he will still now only eat finger foods though which is annoying 😂😂😂
