Am I the only one that sucks at making pancakes? 🥞☹️😂 this is the 2nd morning I've made pancakes for my husband and still something goes wrong! Either i make them too thick so they don't cook all the way or I burn the hell out of them lol I'm no Betty Crocker but I'm trying 🤗 any suggestions on how some of you mommies make them?

I also followed the package instructions once...And they recommended to leave a few lumps in the mix! @v.moya has it about right! When the bubbles pop on the sides and start to form in the middle, you should be good to flip! Oh, and smaller is better ;)

The secret is the bubbles. Keep your dial in medium low heat. Pour your batter in. Once you see the bubbles popping, flip it and jus jus check underneath for a light brown color.
If you make them thick try to make sure you cook them on medium-low and cover it with a lid. It will definitely cook it all the way through. I hope this works, good luck

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
