Why is my breast milk different colors? I swear there's a difference in color or am I just crazy lol

The more cream colored one contains more milk fat, and the clearer one is mostly water. That's why it's colored differently.

I was curious when I pumped too lol

My Dr told me he read a book on breastfeeding, it suggested each boob can sometimes produce different types of milk. When a baby prefers one side, it most likely is the consistency of the milk that they are preferring. lol so now I notice a lot that one side is lighter or thicker than the other

Fat n water

Hindmilk and foremilk. Foremilk is the very beginning of when you start pumping.(smaller bottle) It's usually more watery, lighter in color. The Hindmilk (full bottle) is what keeps baby full with the fat content, higher calories and a little thicker, creamier color. Babies need both types of milk.
