Question about breastfeeding pumping: can u pump more milk with the machine on low suction n if ur more relaxed vs pumping on high suction and massaging n squeezing ur breast to help get the milk out?
@nhenson23, it might not stop it completely but I was in a bad situation And stressed out more then I should have
@nhenson23 oh wow! Are you only pumping or breast feeding as well?
@star_wars_freak_2010 wow I didn't know stress could stop milk production thanks for the info. @jacesterlingsmommy I'm trying different things now hoping this works
It's best to be as stress free as possible to help with flow. I wasn't able to breastfeed my first daughter because my ex stressed me out so much my production stopped.
Yes, I've heard that before and it worked for me. I would start it on high to get the milk flowing then turn it down lower but higher suction. Everyone's body is different so you just have to trial and error what settings work best for you.
@nessa614 well I noticed for the past 3 days I've only been able to get 1 1/2 oz on each breast on high n then tonight I pumped on low suction n got 4 oz on each breast
I pump on whatever suction level feels comfortable & massage. I massage a minute or 2 before pumping & while I pump

Milk is my crave I love it sooo much. What's urs or was urs
what works better to get more milk? A hand pump or a electric pump?
I got my breast pump in the mail today and I wanted to make sure the suction worked and I accidentally milked myself 😂 whoops!
5 more weeks
When should I pack my hospital bag n Wat do u put in ur hospital n babies #FTMisuses
Any suggestions on how to pump more milk for a 34 week premie baby 🍼 I been pumping milk for 3 days now I get more and more everyday but not enough for the baby. He’s drinking formula and I don’t want him too.
@nessa614 only pumping but sorry to clarify it's 1 1/2 oz from each breast every 2 hrs but now since I've kept it on low suction I've been getting 3 1/2 oz each breast every 2 to 3 hrs
