@tunechitweety Call me stupid, but I did also try a variety of "at home remedies" and I can honestly say they failed. And I would highly recommend using a proper clinic. <3 It's already a tough choice to make, even if you already know it's the best choice for you, it's tough. It's tough to carry forward onto term too. To consider adoption. It's all very complicated and tough and I believe they are all good choices. If you do choose to abort, again, I highly recommend a clinical approach. Don't waste money on the gimmicks.The longer you wait, the more expensive it will be. The harder it will be. Emotionally and physically. The clinic can make sure you are in a good place, physically and mentally.

@tunechitweety I didn't sleep during the process. I was very lucid. On the 1st one...I actually and forgive me if I sound crazy, heard a pop and the world got a little brighter and I was filled with this euphoric feeling, a brief high. They had put something inside me...To make me dilate? When I got home, I was just able to sleep and rest. The next day, I was fine. I didn't need a sleep aid really. I know they recommend you not drive or operate things BC of the pain meds. If you know how you react to pain meds, you should have a good idea of how it will be for you. It really felt like a pap smear. The suction was trippy to hear and there was some pressure, but I didn't have any complications. They did have to do a second suction for the 1st one, to make sure all of the bits were gotten, but it still wasn't too bad. I don't think they'd put you to sleep...Might be more risky.

Oh yeah...I didn't have much pain or need for recovery for either one. I was able to drive (immediately after the 1st), walk, work relatively quickly afterwards. I was mostly tired.

I've had 2 surgical abortions. The nurses were very nice, confidential. I swallowed a few pills and waited. They took me to the back for what I would call an equivalent to a pap smear. It lasted a few moments longer than a sampling, but was over quickly. They issued a pad and had me wait for about 30 minutes. This part is similar to when you give blood. They give you some mild pain reliever and antibiotics and tell you what to do if you have any abnormalities. I was blessed to have had some financial aid and hope that I can provide some funds to the cause in the future. If you call the hotline, they can also give you information that may be helpful. I would say the process took about 6-8 hours and about a 24-48 hr notice for the appointment. They require you to listen to a recording about the pros and cons of abortions and give you time to consider the options. A friend of mine took the pill method and honestly, it would have broken my spirit to deal with what she had described to me. She had cramps and then when the...Ahem...At least with surgical, they have the option to use the stem cells from the fetus. <3

if you have insurance it may cover it. I had the pill abortion and only paid like 10% of the total cost which was like $500 so I had to pay like $50. thankfully i wasn't in any pain because I've never gotten period cramps. it was just like a normal period for me. @tunechitweety

@tunechitweety i think they can do government assistance.. just tell them you have a low income and they will ask a few questions then they will lessen the price .. You wait like all day to be seen but the procedure is 15-20 mins long ..They gave me an ultrasound so yeah i got to see the fetus.. only thing with my abortion was i have scars on my uterus from then doing the procedure

@ginac i dont want do that then because right now i got a running nose and cough hard and feel like i be dehydrated most of the time that why i keep something close by me

@tunechitweety the abortion pill. they give u a pill one day and it stops the growth of fetus and 24 hours later u take the second pill and in like 30 mins later I started cramping and bleeding and it terminated the pregnancy.. it was an aweful experience

@princessniquee 😲 that much they dont do Medicaid.. How long it takes ... How many kids you got now.. Did they show the fetus

oh @tunechitweety I took the pill and it was the worst experience ever it basically induced a miscarriage and I felt everything leaving my body I'd never to it again I bleed for 2 months and still have nightmares about it.

@princessniquee did you go to the hospital or clinic what you have to do to get it and how much it cost

Yes 😣 I was forced to have one at 10 weeks .. I had the surgical procedure .. I got put to sleep so I didn't feel anything .. Once i got up the pain hits .. its like severe cramping .. I bleed for 3 weeks - a month.. Its not the best feeling at all ... the after pains and regrets are the worst . Worst thing i ever did in my life...I still miss my Angel like crazy 😢😭

That was 3 years ago, and I'm now 10 weeks and 6 days pregnant
