Just want to ask you all a question. Have any of your children ever had poo where it's mixed with black? My doctor said it's digested blood and he could be bleeding from somewhere inside. He sent an appointment through as urgent. But when I come to book it the earliest they have got is 12th April! I'm not happy! Surely if doctor has put it down as urgent they can get him in sooner!! I'm worried.. Has anyone's baby had this and what was the cause?? Thank you xx

And I've tried prune juice and freshly squeezed orange. Won't touch it. Tried a little bit of brown sugar in boiled water too. He drinks that but doesn't seem to help. Xx

Its probably because the non urgent appointments take forever so put as urgent and still a long wait... it makes sense if he had been unwell and on anti reflux . im no doc but could be something not 100 percent right with the intestines id still go Ane better safe than sorry and they cant turn you away @clarebear83 xx
No I stopped feeding him when he was around 2 months old because he was literally throwing up all the milk he drank. He is on reflux milk now. So that makes him constipated too. But they won't give him anything for the constipation neither because they say he is too young. Which I don't believe. Yes that's what the doctor said @west94. But like what? He's not in any pain or anything or unwell. It just worried me because the doctor has put the referral through as urgent.

He's had it for a while now. It's not fresh blood. It's already digested. Doctor said wait for paediatrics for the appointment. Only time I need to take him to hospital or emergency doctors is if he becomes really unwell 😕
Also do you breastfeed if so that could be the cause or baby possibly has a problem in the upper digestive area xx @clarebear83

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My boy was put on lactoluse at 5 weeks old as his constipation was bad so hes not too young for something.. And i agree with others, take him to AnE.. Sod them if they think ur over reacting x
