As long as it isn't infected, its fine if it's attached a little longer than 2 wks.

My daughter lost herself after 2 weeks

My baby lost it 15 days after birth. but I think it's cause the diaper ripped it off on accident . it oozed for a week an now it's fine

Mine lost hers after 7 days exactly

My sons took a long time. I can't remember exactly how long but I was getting worried too. Mostly it just was gross and I wanted it gone lol. Don't worry it will come out!

@aliakr, what do you mean it oozed for a week?

Yeah like a bloody discharge just enough to rub off onto the diaper but I just kept cleaning it like normal an it healed up just fine @ingridm89
