Try putting a tea bag on her eye. I think that's what my brother did for my moms dog she was like that before too. & antibiotic cream like from the 99 around where it's red. Just watch her after you apply it that she doesn't use her paws go take it off & try to lick it! Poor doggy, I hope she gets better

We always use manzanilla for everything 😭 so that one is fine. Like make the tea in a mug like you normally would and let it cool a bit then put the bag right on her eye. You can use the left over tea to rinse her eye but if she lets. It's hard cause dogs the move and squirm. It's easier to just put the tea bag on the eye. You can do it a couple times a day and then put the antibiotic ointment after with a q tip

It's always safest to take her to the vet and get her checked out, I would call your vet and just ask for advice. Most clinics will try to give advice over the phone if you really can't come in. I used to be a vet tech, and that looks really bad, I've seen bees cause a similar reaction.

As a previous veterinary assistant , it could be an abscessed tooth based on where the swelling is. Which means lots of puss is being swallowed on top of the build up . Hope you can get her in soon !'

@salihah yes it could be that too. All her teeth are bad. She won't eat dog because she cant chew them. Dont get me wrong we take care of her but its so expensive and we never had problems like with any other dog we've had. Shes been through a concussion, swollen face, bad paw... Everything. Luck is nothing for her lol her breath is soooo bad and her nails are soooo long but as said everything is so expensive. She has insurance but it doesnt cover the medication and some other things. We're asking family to help get her in tomorrow

@salihah if it was her tooth would she show signs of pain when we touch it? Cause she shows no pain signs at all. Still eating and drinking and playing.

If you touch it from the outside she probably wouldn't show any signs of pain . It would mostly be when she ate hard foods or bite down on hard stuff

@salihah well my son gave her a cheeto lol and she still was chewing it fine. My mom thinks maybe it was a spider bite from her in being our garage. She doesnt go outside because her lazy ass will not walk

@andrewsmommy, you can try giving her Benadryl then . The pill form 1mg per pound . So if she weighs 5lbs you can give her a 5mg tablet.
