My son refuses to take a bottle when im around!!! 😒😒😒 I tried giving him a bed time bottle with cereal tonight to make him asleep a little sounder (he's been waking at 4ish every morning to eat) but my lil monster just refuses the bottle and puts his mouth on the boobie. 😩😩😩😒😒😒😖😖😖 help! He's 5 months next week.
I really just want to try the bottle with cereal to see if it will help him sleep better. #trialanderror
@skyy12221 im tired of him waking up in the middle of the night. Sometimes every 3 hours. Like tonight i put him down at 10. He woke up at 1 and is eating now. I know he'll be back up sometime around 4. 😩😩 im back at work so every bit of sleep helps and he sleeps in his playpen bassinet next to our bed.
Breastfed babies tend to not take bottles from their moms because they know your mom with the boobs so they will always or almost always refuse a bottle from mom. Try getting someone else to feed him a bottle with you out of site. If he sees you he still won't take the bottle.
Are you tired of breastfeeding or tired of him waking up? Do you co-sleep?
Recommendations on bottles? My son is refusing a bottle he's mostly on the boob but everyone once in a while I pump and give him bottles and now he's refusing to drink from it😩
Ladies, I need help with my 3 month old. He is refusing the bottle. I have tried tommee Tippee and Mam Bottles but no luck there. The only way he will take it is if I trick him by breastfeeding him and then inserting the bottle mid feeding. I need some tips on how to overcome this!!!
Bottles / breastfeeding
For those of you that breastfeed and pump/bottle feed what kind of bottles do you use? I breastfeed and only use the pumped milk when I go out or if my boyfriend feeds him at night. So he basically gets one bottle a day but the bottles come out way to fast for him and get all over him, I've tried dr browns and the Medela bottles but neither are slow enough. I feel like he's gonna choke. Help.
So, my child woke up screaming a little while ago. I made him a bottle and went to change him. When I picked him up, I noticed he was burning up! I took his temp. 101.0! he refused the bottle. we gave him tylenol. I had my Fiancée call the hospital and the receptionist laughed!!! I'm beyond mad!! He's teething. He's had diarrhea for a few days and has some congestion. I don't know what to do and all that twat did was laugh. no advice at all!! no concern in her voice. at all. I'm a ftm to an 8 m...
Ugh I slept my whole day off 😔😒😲😱😞😩😴😖
@tks020615 try co-sleeping it helps both you and him sleep longer at night I barely wake up when my son is next to me I only get up once to change his butt but the rest of the time I'm pretty much sleep unless I have to pee. You can try a bottle with cereal but cereal is a myth it doesn't help babies sleep better. Babies sleep good because of age/maturity.
My oldest I never gave him cereal but my mom in law would sneak it in his bottles (I always found out) when she was watching him, it didn't help at all he didn't start sleeping through the night until 18 months no matter what I did.
