My boy was born at 9lbs and he was in newborn clothes for at most two weeks. But every brand runs different. Gerber newborn was way too small while Carter's newborn was fine.

Hmm ok! I hardly got any newborn clothes because my MIL convinced me that he wouldn't fit into them and he's hardly big enough for half the outfits lol @nomaci

My boy gained weight so fast. I look in the tags for weight, and then look at the size of it, if I think he can wear for a little longer, I put it back in the pile, whatever hes outgrown I take to the church that takes in teenage mothers.

I think I started putting him in 0-3 when he was almost 2 months old. But he was like 13 pounds then.

He's wearing a pair of pants right now that say "up to 7 lbs" but they fit him great lol I think whoever sized newborn clothes was drunk when they did it @amberdaine

Hahaha. It's so hard to guess babies sizes! He'll be 8mo on Saturday and he's in 9-12m clothing. I knew he was going to big because my dad's family all have bigger babies, so I only got a couple newborn things. But he was in newborn shirts and pants way longer than onesies.

They must have been lol. Sounds like unless he hits that growth spurt you probably have a little while with the newborn sizes.

She's almost 2 mos and grew out of most newborn sleepers a week or two ago, been wearing mostly 0-3 smaller ones like gerber and circo, the others are still too big. Starting to grow out of newborn leggings/pants too. Some onesies are getting tight

My son was in new born clothes for a few days 😭 he's wearing 18-24 at 8 months. All brands run different diapers as well

my baby got grew his new born clothes probably when he was 2 months old.

My son was in newborn clothes for 2 to three months and in new born pants for even longer that that he wad 8 pounds and 21 inches long

Now he is in 12-18 months and he is only 9 months old

My baby was in newborns for a while too. He was 8Lbs 2.9oz at birth and he fit premee better than newborn because he was so skinny
