Isabelle is doing better today. We've been giving her zarbees and I think it's helping. She just drank 6oz and now she's playing.
I'm still worried about her moving her head side to side while she sleeps because it's a symptom of RSV, but I noticed she only does it when she's restless and waking up.
Anyway, her breathing and congestion sound MUCH better, thank God. Still no fever. Knocking on wood. My boyfriend swears it's just a cold bc he and I both had one. He also said the hospital (he works there) won't do anything we aren't doing even if she tests positive bc there's no fever and no wheezing.

Counting breaths also helps to diagnose a pneumonia. More than 60 breaths in a minute are signs of pneumonia. What's RSV?

@melody37 she had pneumonia before when she was 4months and it was nothing like this. She had a fever and was throwing up grey mucus. It was awful. RSV is a respiratory virus. Its symptoms are usually that of a cold, with the more serious symptoms being wheezing, refusing to eat, trouble breathing. Severe cases of RSV require breathing treatments.

@melody37 she's acting pretty normal! I think she's feeling much better. She's spitting out a lot of mucus because it's mixing with her drool (teething really bad) but other than that yesterday and today have been great. She's even refusing to nap at the moment so she's pretty much back to her normal self 😂
