I had an un medicated birth. I had an amazing midwife and took all the natural birthing classes, but it still hurts like I bitch lol. The pushing felt like a relief to me the contractions were by far the worst part. I tore and didn't even feel it I was so happy to be pushing! Transitioning feels like someone is taking a knife and trying to cut you from the inside out! Lol it was awful. But if do it again!

Girl I got the epidural at first. I had a lot of complications and they made me let it wear off. I was in labor from 10 am to 10 pm and pushed for 5 1/2 hours. She wasn't sitting in there right. The whole pushing process except for like 45 minutes was without meds.

I got an epidural but mine did not take so I felt everything. It was very painful my water broke witch is what sent me to the hospital so the contractions were super intense they felt kind of like really painful set ups or something and buy the time I was pushing I didn't feel when I ripped because of how much pain I was in so I think for my next baby I am just going to go with out the epidural and save myself that bother idk yet tho

Oh wow, yeah I've never been to hawaii so I have no clue what y'all have there! Maybe look online for Bradley Method instructors in your area? That's the birthing classes I took and they're awesome if you get a good instructor.

see I wish I would've had that. hawaii doesn't have much resources for that @dashtikalin

Aw haha thanks. I think any mom that goes through having a baby is a strong woman. It helped that I had an amazing doula and I had taken natural birthing classes beforehand.

Yeah your such a strong woman. I gave up an wanted the epidural. I kinda wish I wouldn't of been so numb I couldn't hold my legs or push right. I got her out in under 15 minutes but as a result I got 2nd degree tears @erica95

I had an unmedicated water birth and honestly, pushing was a relief. I felt like I was finally doing something constructive instead of just sitting through contractions. Getting any pain relief meds didn't even cross my mind lol, though to be fair, I was totally out of it.

The contractions were so bad I didn't feel anything else. Didn't feel her come out I didn't feel myself tear. They were horrible. Felt relief when I pushed but that's it lol. People say it's like period cramps... but it's more like the inside of your stomach is being ripped out.

Oh man... I gave up an got the epidural 5 hours or so in.... Cause I had internal monitors so I couldn't move around through the contractions. . lol @jaderbug

The pain I remember vividly is the contractions lol it felt like Freddy Kruger trying to escape through my stomach 😂 and pushing was the only time I felt pain in my vagina. It just felt like really hard poop trying to come through there lol that's the best explanation I can come up with.
