I'm so worried because some people say at a certain amount of weeks you're not supposed to sleep on your back, but some nights when I'm having leg cramps I'll roll over on my back to ease the pain from my leg cramps and fall asleep without even thinking to turn back over on my side. I pray and hope baby is fine because I'll accidentally sleep on my back every now and then.

It's not going to hurt you to sleep on your back. The issue is that the weight of your uterus and baby will cut off blood flow to one of your main arteries. If you were hurting yourself or the baby your body would make you move.

@jsco, Thank you so much for the info because I was really concerned.

It can make your heart beat fast and make you feel dizzy. But if it was seriously hurting you or the baby your body would make you roll over, or wake you up. I slept on my back almost all my pregnancy, maybe just put 2 or 3 pillows under your back to keep you propped up a little.

don't worry, I slept on my back throughout my pregnancy an i was fine. I slept on my stomach an back actually. it really only became impossible once I reached 37 weeks an more... your body will let you know when you can't sleep on your back anymore. @brittneydav3
