@elise305, It depends on the person. I recovered with baby A a lot better than I did with my first. But I had LOTS more PP bleeding with baby A than with my other.
@elise305, like I was walking day of, but I obviously had other reasons lol. Prob a week to feel much better. I'm not a good person to talk about bleeding. I'm still bleeding, but again, different circumstances. With my first it was 6 weeks. One piece of advice... take it "easy" ask for help, no heavy lifting, don't push yourself etc. I hear if you "behave" it's much better.
don't be nervous! you got this! my first csection was about two weeks. this time around was a little under a week. I'm feeling good. not in pain but yesterday I felt like I was punched in the stomach a thousand times, today I feel great. it all depends on your body. relax & don't over do it, but also test your body a bit, definitely sit up & walk around. baby steps. I'm soooo excited to see your baby!
Took me about 2 almost 3 weeks..I didn't take it easy tho, I hate not being able to do things for myself so I had to be on intibiotics because my incision was swollen from one side and was having yellowish discharge from the incision..but again I over did it which cause it to get inflamed..my OB told me off in a nice way tho. Take it easy I know I will this time around its going to be hard since my first born will be 11 months when the baby arrives but I need to in order to be able to take care of both my babies. Take it easy, no heavy lifting..allow everyone to help ND don't feel like your a burden. You got this!!

By a week I wasn't so sore, by 2 weeks I was able to walk normally and even speed walk.

It took me about 3 weeks. A heating pad on the surgery site helps a lot.

Nope. I was numb from my shoulders, down. I felt tugging and pressure but no pain.
