Can someone go into preterm labor if they have a thyroid problem?

I was told I have this but I Dont remember if its hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. ... I will know more Thursday. But Im worried because not only do i have this, I was told my baby has cysts on his brain(which I was told not to worry about this because its common, but still worried)
