Slippers! A robe, comfy loose clothing, chapstick, a towel since the hospital ones are a joke, and a notebook to jot important things down. Going home outfit, blanket. The hospital here provided blankets, hats, shirts, diapers and such for him when he was born. An extra bag to stuff any goodies you acquire.
