I smoked most of my pregnancy wit my daughter and although it wasnt heavy like I normally did...my baby is here and perfectly healthy-no complications at all...I smoked mainly out of a bowl or papers...it helped me eat and sleep ! I stay hydrated and ate healthy tho...I never heard a word from my doctor at my appts or at the hospital....cps never came to me and I never heard nothing about cps

They tested him because of lack of prenatal care

I have 4 and I smoke with all of them...the 3rd was the one that the hospital contacted cps for...no they didn't take my baby they just had me call a relative that would test negative and go home with me and the baby....they came to my home once a week until I was negative for the weed

In our state cps is called and the. Baby is taken until the parent can show that they are off drugs and they have to go for a year of drug testing. But here it's illegal. I know some states it's not so depends on that.

They test all babies for drugs if you have a doctor note saying this was the reason it's in your babies system it might be ok but then again maybe don't smoke any the week before or after your due date it will be out of your system by then

I know my Dr in GA I go to test when you get pregnant and if you're clean they won't test again. But not sure how other states work. They didn't do that with my first pregnancy but then the policy changed.

Unless they're is reason, they won't test you.

They will call cps but if the baby shows no actual issues with health then they won't take them away. My sister smoked as well and they just interviewed her and advised her not to nurse
