How did/do you moms get your kiddos to sleep in their own bed? We've lived in a 1 bedroom since before my first was born and theyve always shared a bed with dad and I. Our new place is a 2 bedroom and they have their own room but i dont know how to train them to sleep alone.

Start with naps in their beds. Then put them in there for night time. Try using a shirt or blanket that smells like your bed that has helped us.

I do not believe in co-sleeping with your child of any age idc. They need to learn to sleep in their own beds by themselves! No negative comments!!!!
Quick question does any of you moms let your baby sleep in bed with you if so was it hard to get them to sleep in there own bed? My baby is a little a month and I tried having her sleep on her own and she just kept waking up and when I put her in bed with us she fell back to sleep and stayed asleep.
At how many weeks did you ladies pop your baby's down for either a nap on their own in bedroom or down at night on their own until you went to bed ? Obviously with a monitor x
I'm not at all comfortable with the thought of having my baby sleep in a crib so therefore she will sleep with me & her dad . Eventually I will have to get her to sleep in her own bed but until then she is to sleep in my bed & idc what anyone has to say about it
Start with naps then work your way up to sleeping in their own bed in their own room at night. I used the cry it out method recommended by my daughters pedi and it worked. If your oldest gets up just take her straight back in her bed even if she's doing it every 5 minutes. It will he tiring but at the end you'll have them sleeping in their own room and you and your SO will have your own room.
