Paternity leave
How much time did your S/O take off of work when you had a baby? Luckily I live in California so we have 6 weeks paid paternity leave (55%), but my S/O is getting s*** at work for taking 4 weeks. It's honestly infuriating that people are asking why he needs so much time off and "he's not going to be taking care of the baby the whole time". Umm it's called BONDING LEAVE. It's such bull s*** how people expect dad's to take way less time off as if it's not their kid too. Dad's d...
Maternity leave
Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
When do you ladies plan on taking your maternity leave from work?
Thrush what works what doesn't my baby been taking a med and it's not working it's something that starts with Ny but it's so frustraightengly not working :(
Everyone I've personally known have worked as long as their bodies would let them... usually after 35 weeks... although a couple of people I know were put on bed rest, so obviously they were done far earlier... I personally had just moved to a new town, had planned to start looking for work after we got settled in, but I got pregnant right away, and had some early complications... we knew once we had kids I would stay at home until they were school age, so I just started that plan early.
