Tell me your first child's birth story? Curiosity. It's my due date and no baby yet, so passing time.

Woke up around 5am, just a feeling that something wasn't right. Went to the bathroom to find my water breaking a brown color. So we rushed to the hospital to find out that my daughter was stressed out and had used the bathroom inside of me. I was on bed rest for a couple days at the hospital. They gave me medicine to induce labor. They put a rod inside of me to make sure everything was okay with her and it stayed there all night. Very uncomfortable! So I didn't get much sleep because of the pain from that rod being inside of me. They came in around 5-6 in the morning and said I was ready to start pushing. I pushed for what felt like eternity and couldn't get her head out. So the doctor came in with the suction to grab her head. (That was the worst pain I have ever felt.) I signed for an emergency c-section just in case I couldn't get her out soon. Finally started getting somewhere and she was born at 11:21 in the morning and weighing 7lbs and 1oz. After all that pain, I remembered nothing because I was finally holding her.

I was 30 weeks and I woke up bleeding so I went in to be checked and my water broke at 30 weeks so I had to be admitted and 9 days later I was having placental abruption pretty bad so they induced and my little boy was born at 32 weeks!

I made it to 39 weeks, they noticed some extra protein so I spent the entire weekend collecting pee. That Monday, May 14th, I went in to get checked. I was at 4cm, so the doc sent me to L&D to get induced. I really tried to go without pain meds, buuuut no...pitocin was too convincing. The epidural was HEAVEN. He was born at 11:35pm, hard labor was about 6 hours from start to finish.

I was due July 26th and was induced August 1st at 9am. Contractions began around 12pm. I got 2 epidurals and was in pain the ENTIRE 30+ hours 😥😥.. they broke my water for me and I ended up getting a c section because her heart rate would drop after each contraction. She was born August 2nd at 9:48 pm at exactly 41 weeks

Sept 16, 11 days before my due date. Was 1 am I got up to use the bathroom thought I peed myself til I noticed a little blood. Got to hospital around 1:45 had no contractions until they started me on pictocin. I made it until about 10:30 am and then got an epidural. Was starving the whole day😭 had my son at 5:05 pm that day. Labored about 15 hrs and pushed for 20 mins. Congrats hope you have a safe delivery and healthy baby💕 maybe you'll get as lucky as I did. It was hard but not as hard as I was imagining it. Don't let your nerves get to you you'll do amazing!

I went 41 weeks with my daughter. We left the house so I could be induced at about 7:30pm. My contractions didn't start till about midnight. My water broke at 6:30am, that's something I will never forget. I felt like I peed myself. Lol they came in gave me something to ease the pain, while I waited for the epidural. My husband almost passed out while they were doing that to me. Once I had the epidural, it was smooth sailing. I waited a few more hours, and my daughter was out of the womb by 11:05am on March 4th. She will be a year next month.

It was November 27th on a Sunday 3 days after my original due date. I woke up with pressure in my lower back and (tmi) i felt as tho i had to have a bowl movement but nothing would come. With sharp pain running thru my body i didnt think nothing of it because my water bag didnt break. I jump in so warm water not knowing i was rushing the issue because as soon as i got out pain came faster than before that now i was no longer able to walk and crawling was all i could do. Still didnt think it was time to have him until i got to the room and they checked me and i was 3cm she told me we were to have a baby. I was in labor from 6am made it to the hospital abt 2pm and had my son at 6:09pm. I hope u have a safe deliever and a healthy baby congrats

@jolynnsmith mine went pretty quick for me I thought. I woke up around 2:30 3 amd because I was having contractions 9 min then 5 min then 3 min apart and by time I woke up and told my mom and got in the car they were 1 min apart. once we got to hospital they checked me in bla bla put a monitor on me and checked me I was at 2cm and they waited a bit then took me to the delivery room where I I tried to sleep some, because it was 4 am when I got admitted. I slept on amd of then at 7 am I got an epidural. From there on I slept, and every hour they checked on me and every hr i was dialted a cm more. By 4pm it was time to push. I pushed for about an hour and a half roughly and had my little boy at 5:57 on August 6th. But I also had him at 38weeks 5 days.
