Has anyone been on depo provera?😩 I was on it when I was seventeen but was only on it for a year. I keep reading how many MANY women had tried for years with no luck after getting off the shot or some tried for a little over a year until they got pregnant. I just am worried now even though those women were on it longer than me.
I know many people like to like statuses and not answer the question being asked so please if you have been on it, answer me lol.
@mommy2be12511, Oh wow it only took a month or two for my periods to come back.
I was on it for 2 years. It took me 10 months to have a period. I didn't start ttc until March 2015. It took me 20 months to conceive baby #2.
I said the same thang and it shouldn't. @ttcmylovebug
@kiahsmom, Well damn.... three years and she got pregnant that fast. I hope it doesn't take me much longer.
I was on the depo for two years and although I would like to blame it for my fertility issues I ended up having PCOS which made it hard for me to get pregnant I liked that I would only have to get the shot once ever 3 months but I didn't like the mood swings, the hair loss and the depression. The doctors swear it wasn't from the depo but honestly I know it was. As soon as I stopped all of those symptoms stopped. Everybody's bodies act differently with things 🤷♀️
I was on it for 3months it took me 6 months to get pregnant. My sister got pregnant a month after getting off and she was on it for 3 years @ttcmylovebug
@ehq, @karaperkins1019, @jenngarcia1755, @jayyxo13, @antwonika, @allyk.xmommy, Thank you guys so much for your feedback! This is my eighth month trying and I'm a bit worried now even though I know everyone is effected differently by it. I just don't want it to take very long. These eight months have been long enough 😞😣
I was on depo. It made me cramp, gain weight, and I was on it for almost 3 years. When I got off it and tried to get pregnant it took over a year and I miscarried.
I was on it for a year and a half & I only took it once that time & I'm finally pregnant, everyone's body is different, we all react to different things differently @ttcmylovebug,
i was on the depo for about 2-3years after having my son. i just got off it about 3 almost 4weeks ago & is trying this last time. its seems tough to me tho.
I started drop when I was 17, took it on and off (mostly on) until a few years ago (I'm 35 now) the only time I was off of it was when I would forget to make an appt in time and then have to wait or something. I have 4 kids now and never had any infertility type issues. But everyone is different so hard to know how someone will react to it.
I was on it for two years and got pregnant three months after I missed a shot, however, I miscarried. But have had a healthy little girl since then and I am 37 weeks with a healthy boy!
My friend was on it for a little under a year and it took her two years to get pregnant but she is currently 24 weeks with a healthy baby!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

@ttcmylovebug, yes it felt like it took forever. I'm actually glad I didn't conceive during that time as my daughter's father and I split. I didn't conceive again until my fiancé (known him 11 years) and I moved in together.
