Best Advice to be successful at breastfeeding? Tips? Tricks? Tools? anything is helpful!
Seriously, anything else, any questions about breastfeeding message me. I'm so passionate about it and proud of mamas that do because it can be hard but it really is the best way to feed baby.
Push through the pain and don't get discouraged. Do not be worried about what people might think or say if you decide to feed uncovered in public, it's just a tit, everyone has seen one before. Drink loads of water and eat plenty of food, that pre-pregnancy body can wait. Coconut is a god send, use it to help cracked nipples. If you feel like you're not filling baby up because of constant feedings, it's fine, breastmilk digests quicker.
It's not always intuitive. Every baby is different. What worked for one child, may not work with another. It's ok to pump and/or bottle and formula feed in tandem with breastfeeding once your supply is established - this is a personal decision, not for someone else to decide for you. Fed is best, that's what you should focus on so if something isn't going right, don't be super hard on yourself. Ask for help.
