How do ppl leave their babies at the hospital !? Some girl my hubby knows lost her baby at full term…

People do it al the time some do it to donate to science but it's sad my mom has told me she has seen babies that have been in there for decades it's sad

She more than likely didn't know how to cope with it and it may have just been easier for her to do it that way, easier to distance herself from it. When I had my son in 2012, I was induced at 23 weeks because he had anencephaly. He passed at some point during labor and although I didn't do a burial. I did hold him until I was ready to let go. I gave him a name and the funeral home cremated him and gave me a teddy bear that had his hand and foot prints on it and the little urn with his ashes. For me that was the hardest part because it made it real.

People respond differently to losses like that. There's no right way to do it.

I personally don't think I could find any way to cope. That's the worst in my eyes to lose something so precious. I'm not sure what I would do. I don't think I could leave the baby either but to some it's probably easier to walk away. Breaks my heart that anyone has to go through this. I miscarried at 5 weeks and was devastated. I buried my baby as well some people cope differently. It's expensive once they get bigger to bury them. Who knows maybe after she's out of shock she will realize what happened
