FTM question--
2 week old Baby boy is great at latching, but sometimes he'll latch & then pop off right away. Eventually he'll latch.
It doesn't hurt when he latches. He doesn't look distressed.
I've noticed that when he's wide awake he latches better. Would you say he's just a sleepy baby who needs some waking up for a proper latch?

@beebaby @bria thanks yeah I play with his hand and tickle and rub his feet. I also think he just recently discovered his tongue lol because his latch is a lot stronger today and he gets it right away.

That's awesome good luck on your breastfeeding journey! I wish I would have been able to bf ... I pumped and supplemented until 6 weeks but dried up (I think due to my breast implants)
