I have a question, how do I get baby girls schedule flipped around without disrupting the rest of the houses schedule?
She does not sleep through the night. Usually her longest stretch of sleep is from 6am to anywhere from noon to 3pm in the afternoon. Which means I'm sleeping during that time, and my day is shot. Lol. The rest lf the time she takes naps, from an hour to maybe 3 hrs. (And sometimes I can sneek one in too.) When I tried to do the sleep train, my fience whl has 4 kids of his own, told me he never heard of sleep training. And I shouldn't rush her to have that schedule because she's a baby. So, I have zero support on this from him. I'm up mostly all night making sure she's quiet an not waking him up. Or the other kids. I've tried doing the bath at bedtime and making a routine, means nothing. She gets cereal in her bottle, doesn't change anything. Lavender, just smells pretty. Keep her up all day, she fights me to sleep, and then only sleep an hour and we're back to the norm. I'm trying to find a job and Its going to be super hard to figure a sleep schedule for myself. Any suggestions would be very much welcomed.
Honey isn't recommended til 1 years of age. We have the same problem, we tried to cut naps An everything, I have a diffuser an a calming sleep oil that seems to help a lot at night. She takes about 3 naps a day more than 3 an she won't sleep at all. She usually falls asleep at 11-12 An sleeps til 9am. I didn't sleep train I let her make her schedule, we also use music to help relax her.
I read medical page explaining that babies can't digest honey in the first year, so honey can sit in their intestines and form a specific bacteria that will make them very sick..
And I've tried the bath at bedtime routine, it doesn't work. I'll let her play in the water for what feels like an hour, and then she only sleeps 2 hrs..
