So I feel like since this is my first baby I'm a little off on information but I was talking to my mom earlier and she asked if I had been getting vaginal checks and I haven't except when I first found out...kinda made me nervous because I didn't think about it this whole time

They will start checking your cervix at like 37 weeks (:

I wasn't checked until like 36/37 weeks. don't worry :) they'll wait to check you until then unless your having problems. @darshay012

Okay thank you both I was unsure idk maybe every doctor is different I know people that have been checked every appointment but it makes since to check now that I'm closer.

I wasn't checked until 38 weeks and that's because I was feeling a lot of pressure. If you are concerned, ask them to check you 😊 doctors will always check if you ask

@darshay012 I didn't get checked until I was 39 weeks. Every OB is different though, my sister had a baby a few months before I had mine and she started getting checked at her 36 week appointment and one of my friends started getting checked I believe at her 32 week appointment.
