Have him wash his hands and wear a mask. If he's with you on the couch he's getting his germs close to baby. I'm not trying to be rude, but you'll get sick and then what? You'll do like the rest of us mommies and deal with it. Still watch baby and try to protect baby from it. It's not easy, I'm sorry you're going through this especially since baby is still so small and you're still recovering

We were on separate couches but that's exactly what I was thinking.. the germs are already in the house, If I get sick I still have to do everything I do normally, he just gets a cop out because he doesn't have boobs 😕 @leahsmommi

Mine used to sleep through her crying and wake up and still do little. I ended up waking him up just so he woke up everytime I did. We made the baby together, it's not fair for mom to do everything all the time. And if you don't say it's not fair it'll keep going.

I did say it wasn't fair, and I started crying because I wanted to have a bath and then we just ended up getting into a fight about it and he's snoring on the couch.. so it clearly got through to him @leahsmommi

Has he been sick since baby got home? Did he help before if he wasn't?

No he's been sick the last 2 days. He helps for the most part. He'll change diapers if I ask and he'll snuggle/watch him so I can have a bath or a nap. He works 10 hour days tho so unless he's off work I'm just here by myself.

Ohhhh. Okay. Well then. Lol I'm sure he heard you he's just in the worst part of getting sick, but still have him wear a mask and help some. Mine works 10-12 and is gone all night. It sucks, I get you

Lol @jsco, right!! I've sent mine to the guest room when he got sick. I was like you wanna act like your dying go to hospice. Last room. Stay your ass in there. Lol I'm so done playing the mommy role, now that I have my love and other love on the way. I'm their mommy, he needs to step up and be daddy lol goodness. Men smh

Hey why not take a bath with baby? Just a thought. I understand. My husband doesn't have a day off, and I'm here with four kids. My oldest goes to school, and she's six today. She washes dishes, cleans her room, and picks her toys up. So I don't know what I would do without her. My 3 year old, 2 year old, and 4 months old of course thinks it's funny to drive me bonkers. But my six year old actually talks to her baby sister.

So I get the other kids in their bath, and I soak with my baby. Great bonding too.

I don't mind having a bath with him, but I would really like to have hot water and just relax alone lol which I suppose won't happen anytime soon @armyvet_mom_of_four

Why not put the baby in a bouncer or something portable so u can have your eyes on little one and get in the bath by your self I have back problems and hot baths are the only thing that helps and I'm a stay at home mom so I often have to lay my son the bathroom floor so I can take a bath
