Where is the share button 👏👏👏 @jolynnsmith like that is exactly how I feel like I don't want nobody in me nor my baby face. Like its our first time bonding outside the womb I want to enjoy it.
It is completely reasonable! It's even good for both you and the baby to have that time alone. Most people will understand, and if they don't, oh well, they'll get over it.
@nomaci, great advice...I don't mind visitors after a few hours. I just want to keep her to myself a few hours longer before sharing her with the world. May sound selfish, but I think that's reasonable...
If people show up unannounced at the hospital use the nurses as a barrier. They can say you aren't seeing anyone, tough. And when you get home, disconnect the doorbell and shut the blinds if people show up randomly. Send out an 'all is well' text and put phones on silent. You deserve whatever time you want. Just let people know you're all okay first or they'll panic.
@kitcatmeow8383, Thank you! I appreciate the comments. Makes me feel a little more comfortable with telling everyone I need some alone time with baby. Our "babymoon" lol
