My mom is a Trump supporter, and I am NOT, and now she refuses to talk to me because I keep posting anti-Trump stuff on my Facebook. 🤷🏽♀️ She's being a jerk and if she wants to ruin our relationship over this, that's on her. Trump sucks. End of.

I don't have one mom, actually. I have three. My bio mom, who gave me up for adoption, and my 2 gay mothers who adopted me. She is one of the ones who raised me. But we've never been super close, unfortunately. I'm not pushing her away but I will not beg for attention. I am almost 30, I have a right to my own thoughts. This is on her.

Politics are a hot button issue. I don't discuss them with my family or my husbands family for that reason. We agree so fundamentally on so many things, yet we don't always align politically. I don't have a Facebook, so that isn't an issue, but I generally try to stay clear of the topic for my own sanity. Just remember that you only get one mom, breath deep, and swallow your pride. If you want to keep posting just make sure she can't read the posts. It's a silly thing to not talk to you about, but sometimes we need to be the bigger people.
I personally don't think ya'll should END the bond you and your mother share over anyone yet another over Trump maybe Block 🚫certain posts so she can't see I agree with @beebaby it's silly to END the bond you and your mother share. Everyone is entitled to having their own opinion just don't let their opinion affect you wishing you the best

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Sooooo Athena has to have the surgery 😥😥😥😥 I've been bawling I'm a mess ! I can't believe this is happening to my poor child ! Why ? What did I do that caused this ? I'm seriously on my knees bawling ! As much as I tried to prepare myself, I wasn't ready to hear those words . In 3 months she will have her cranial surgery & I pray to God she has a easy & speedy recovery ! Please pray for my baby ladies ! She really needs them !

I apologize I misspoke. Oh and I absolutely agree @housfullofgrls, this is on her. It's sad when a grown woman acts like a child. I just wanted to give a different angle I guess. I myself find politics to be very personal, but I fully support people being able to share their opinion. That's what makes this country great. Different people with differing world views.
