Why do some fathers not understand that taking care of the baby is literally 24/7 that it's not as easy as they think it is... like yes I understand you're the one bringing home money that you work 5 or 6 days a week but when you have a day off you don't change no diapers you don't make no bottles you don't shower the baby you just watch tv play video games and sleep.. when do moms get a

Day of?

I do the same exact thing @cubanese does! Whenever I need a break I will literally plop my son is my boyfriend's lap and walk away. Usually I lock the door and take a long hot bath (what I'm doing now 😂)

Omg girl... you need to leave him with the baby on his day off while you go out for a good 4-6 hours. He won't know the first thing to do without you! He better change his tune by then.

@cubanese unfortunately I can't do that. My husband has no patience and I have no patience to deal with two children. One It's enough ayyy the moment

I did that before @amorrione, I had to go to an appointment but since it was early the baby slept the whole time I was gone so he never really got to see the struggle

I had to leave my baby with just her daddy for like three hours today and when I got back he was like "how do you do this all day?" Said he was about to go nuts, trying to take care of the baby and pets and do a little laundry

I do that at times@cubanese, and I go to the bathroom and cry for like 10 minutes or just stare blankly at the wall

It's just frustrating that I put the baby down for a nap and then 5 min later my s.o gets up to look for something and if he can't find it he'll start fussing and making louder noises and the baby ends up waking up

I feel the exact same way .. and I don't think they will ever understand what It's like to be a mom . Our job is Monday-Sunday .. the minute you wake up until the minute you close your eyes and even when you're sleeping too .. we never get any breaks .

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
