This is kind of a silly question but I am seriously confused..my December tests were negative as were my January's..but for some reason I looked in the drawer where I keep them, all of my January ones had a faint double line! I was excited until I remembered that I got my period on time that month so I can't be pregnant. I tested again to be safe and it was negative. What the eff?! Why were my January ones suddenly positive?? Could I have miscarried?? There were no lines after the 3 minute mark but they suddenly showed up later after I had put them away

After some time old tests get what is called an evaporation line if you let any test sit long enough it will get one it's just the line that would've shown up if it was positive becomes visible.

By that I mean the strip that would have turned pink or blue if it was positive within the time frame appears. And yes sometimes evaps can have color. NEVER trust a test outside of the time frame if you wonder then test again but it's most likely the negative u got originally was correct

I took a test back in December.. I took like 3 that day. and I took one at 11pm. it was negative..so I went to bed, woke up and hadda pee. and the test I took the night before had a faint 2nd line and went and got clear blue. and it was positive
