I'm not sure, but my Daughter probably poops every other day mostly and sometimes twice a day. She's on formula, so I'm not sure if it makes a difference rather breast milk or formula could affect how much baby poops.

Is your baby breastfed? Breastfed babies can scare u and go days without pooping! 5-7 days even! My newborn went a few days and made me nervous. Then boom, explosion of poop!

There you go! Switching will change her pooping, formula is a bit denser so they will go from constantly popping to slowing down a bit. I'd give her little intestines some adjusting time before worrying to much. I supplemented formula for a day when my newborn went on a little nursing strike and she didn't poop from that for 3 days. Doctor said it was totally normal. But if you're concerned maybe call your doctors office and ask a nurse!

I was always told that breastfed babies poop more. My daughter poops almost after every feeding. Formula tends to constipate a little so less poop. That's what my nurse said

@morganmommy79, yeah I've heard that too. That's probably what it is. I just feel bad that she hasn't gone!
