question for you single mommas,
Alice's grandmother on her father's side loves her to death. but she's left out because Alice's father isn't very involved. Do any mommas keep a relationship with your ex's family by going around your ex? how do you do it? phone calls won't work for us because there is a language barrier so I might need to get creative

yeah its hard for sure! like at the end of the week I really dont wanna deal with the ex fam 😂 but the more the merrier for baby!
@kambam that's my attitude toward my ex. if he wants to see her and I can accommodate it (like she's not already at daycare) then I tell him yes. but I don't chase him down every week saying "where the hell are you?!"
we're just so busy during the week it's hard for me to drop everything to take her over there all the time. Her daycare is doing picture day on the 16th so I'm thinking of mailing his mom some of her pictures and trying to write a note in Spanish to let her know that I'm aware she loves Alice and I want to find a way to build their relationship it's just a little tricky right now
either just show up at their place or they can come to yours. I personally think that if the ex family wants to see the baby they should make the effort. I dont say no to my exes family but I dont go out of my way to meet up
