Has anybody done allergy testing with their baby? I have to take him to an allergist and I want to know what to expect 🤔
I guess they just get used to it after a while. If they never had it they don't know what it tastes like so I guess it's fine @beebaby,
Actually, um with the dairy it wasn't a big deal. I don't give my kids dairy milk anyway, they drink soy because I do. Now the baby is the only one who can't have peanuts but I don't give it to his brother because I don't want him to accidently share. As for my 6 year old he grew out of his allergies. Even though my baby is allergic to dairy he loves cheese and I give him 1 cheese stick. If I give him 2 he has a stomach ache but he loves cheese as much as me. It isn't all bad but in the beginning it is stressful because you have to ask about the contents of everything.
That must be really difficult for them to see other kids having that stuff and not being able to have it 😰 @beebaby,
YEAH MY boys are allergic to milk, dairy, peanuts so they can't have anything. It's not fun at all
Oh no he doesn't have that. I hope it's not anything super common that he's allergic to... that's hard to deal with when he starts going to school @beebaby,
Well they have both been admitted to the hospital for asthma. It would be a breathing problems, coughing and such
What were their asthma symptoms? I don't think my son has that @beebaby,
Yea he keeps having these flare ups of eczema so something is irritating him and I just want to get to the bottom of it @beebaby,
Thanks girl. Blood work is bette than being poked over and over again @beebaby,
Ok thanks ladies. I feel a little better! @achappex3, @ladybug91,
He'll be fine. They may not even do it today, but just get you into their system and what not.
They scratch his back with some samples of allergens. If he breaks out he's allergic, if not he's not. It's painless and easy as long as he doesn't breakout. If he does, they have stuff there to treat him right away.
Ok my son is 7 months so I'm really nervous. I don't want to put him through too much 🤕@achappex3,
Currently in the process of getting it done for my girls (they'll be 3 but they won't diagnose them here with anything but food allergies before they turn 2). I got the option to do the pokes in the back, and I refused. That seems like Torture for a little one of at age (I had it done when I was 8 or 9). So we are currently just going to do it the blood way. They'll draw blood from them one time and that should give them the answers they need.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Right. That's what I think. They don't know what they are missing
