Little monster has reverted back to 20 minute naps. Loosing my mind. I don't understand why he keeps going backwards suddenly when I have everyone telling me, dw hun stick with it, they fall into a schedule by month 4. It's month 5 and still nothing. I am so behind on classes and my house is upside down.

Their sleep and eating patterns are forever changing as they grow & their needs change. Max has gone back to napping for 15/20mins sometimes. Then randomly he may have 45mins or an hour if I'm lucky lol

@mrsmowmow The wonder weeks has never seemed to help tbh, whenever it's said we're in a sunny period it's been no different to before or after. I've sleep trained, but how did you nap train, please help on that score! I have no idea where to begin with it.

@sara-lou 😭Babiiiess. Lol. He's just never consistently slept well during the day and just when he starts to and I think yay maybe we've got a routine we can try to stick to now.... He goes back to 15 minute naps and my house goes back to upside and my classes nonexistent. Sigh. I feel like a terrible mum, especially when I get lectures from relatives about how their baby was on this schedule and that schedule.

Every baby is different. Neither of my boys fell into a day routine till around 7/8months. Before then their so young they just need time sleep & feed as & when. It is hard when it comes to housework. But I just take Max to the room I'm cleaning or I'll do it another time. I guess I'd try to study in the evening once they were asleep but must admit I've not had to experience that whilst being a mummy I don't know how you do it!

@sara-lou I wish I just knew there will be a light at the end of tunnel, that he will at some point find his own schedule even if it's months down the line. Purely because I'm falling so so behind on classes and I keep saying, once baby is on schedule I'll get back on track. But that's just not happening. But yeah as for the housework I've finally cracked how to get it done with toys and dancing and songs and rusks lol. I wish I had the energy at night after he goes to bed to study but I'm just mentally tired. My husbands been coming home 9pm and after for 2 weeks + now so I'm doing his night time bath routine as well and getting no break. Life of a mum though isn't it. I love it all the same.

Yeh I can imagine. I'm usually ready for bed once the boys have gone down at 7pm lol. 10 maybe 11 is my bedtime but I couldn't imagine having to study at that time. I feel for you! He will get there don't worry. I've never pushed either of mine into a routine (apart from bedtime) but Morgan naturally fell into one himself & I'm sure Max will.

Maya had 20 minute naps at that age...as they get older..they nap less and less. Maya only has a 1 hour nap in the day (wakes before 9am...goes to sleep anytime between 1-3pm...then goes to bed anytime between 7-9pm..but recently going to sleep between 9-12am) Hmm xx

She still wake a few times during the night too xx

@winterbaby95 Omg haven't been on this app for a month or so and your LO is one now! Argh. Congrats. Is she happy with just the one nap? And was always content with 20 minute naps? I know Zaid is very clingy and cranky when he has short naps and usually if I try and rock him after a short nap he will go back to sleep. I'm still feeding at night time too yup, not too worried about cutting that anytime soon.
