Anyone ever get medicine while having the IUD to stop bleeding? Doctor gave me pills to stop the bleeding but I'm still…

I would suggest talking to them about having it removed... I've heard of women having issues with it, like their bodies try to reject it or something... I'd be concerned about permanent damage! 😔

@dreamermom, yeah I'm just torn with what birth control to go with after this😑 I do not want to get pregnant before getting married and taking the pill is not an option for me

@trice4990, maybe a diaphragm, or condoms with spermicidal jelly inserted before intercourse... I track my basal body temp, so I know when I ovulate... if you figured out approximately when you ovulate each month, you can avoid having sex on your most fertile days... just still use protection every time... I was only using protection around my fertile window... and a friend threw my cycle off... here I am almost 15 weeks! Lol

@dreamermom, yeah we definitely don't wanna do that. And I'm definitely not using condoms🙈

@trice4990, why not condoms? You know you can still get pregnant with an iud... the point of an iud is to irritate the lining of your uterus so any fertilized eggs can't stick for long... it basically forces your body to abort... and if one does stick, you have to have the iud removed that almost always triggers a miscarriage.

@trice4990, as long as you don't have any history or mommy part cancers in your family, the Nueva Ring should be fine... I can't use it because it puts hormones directly into those areas and can greatly increase risks later in life... I already have risk factors!
