This boy has bought a lot of joy into our lives over the last 3 years. Dominic has ASPD and non verbal. He can be the biggest pain in the a$$ but the biggest love bug ever. He knows what he wants when he wants it and doesn't stop until he gets it. He has life by the balls and won't take no for an answer. He's the best big brother and the bestest little brother. My knowledge about austism before Dominic was rusty. When he got diagnosed at the age of one I became his advocate. I read articles, got therapy for him, talked to other mommies with little ones with autism and learned a lot. I educated myself for him. I had to learn his language, sign language. No he's not deaf he just chooses to cumunicate with his hands. He knows some verbal words. Mama and bye.
