Yes you have to eat a good amount, for you and for your milk supply because you burn calories. Also the more nutrients in your milk the better for baby! I had the same problem in the first few weeks, all I wanted to do was drink and not eat I would get nauseous. Try smoothies 🙂 or any form of drinks that are liquid (protein shakes maybe?) Crackers, soup (helped me a lot,) etc.
You burn about 500 calories while bf. You don't have to eat alot but make sure to eat healthy when you do. Fruit is good. And get some protein in.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
