a friend told me that they did a blood test to determine her babies gender at 8 weeks, but I thought that's WAY TOO EARLY? anybody else do that? I found at 13 weeks.
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I am 28 weeks and my son is already 3 pounds. I am inducing myself at 37 weeks.
I swear it gets bigger everyday, but I'll be 39 weeks Friday ❤

It's my turn ladies! Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.

I got mine done at 9 weeks!!! found out I was having a girl!!

@leiromero. Yes you can find out that early with the blood test! Lots of insurances just dont cover it.So its easier to just wait rather than paying so much for it...

This was in 2014 @dawnrose I also got my blood drawn on the regular because of high risk they never mentioned it to me

I know with me, they drew my blood at 9 weeks but I didn't get the results back until 12 weeks. It just sounds a little early to know the test results at 8 weeks. But Nothing is impossible I suppose

oh okay @dawnrose they told me they was gone give me the down syndrome test and everything because I was high risk but never did cause they didn't see any problems at all

it's an expensive test and most insurances don't cover it. I got the harmony test done and my dr. office had this agreement with the Harmony company where we only have to pay $169.00 and the rest is waived. I want to say they told me is was around 2000.00 but I don't remember. the harmony test is for Down syndrome, and other abnormalities. the gender is just a plus to the test

I didn't say you said she lied... I was asking a question, if she would lie? and I only asked that because the way you wrote your post seems like you don't believe her, or your questioning it. did you find out at 13 wks through the bloodtest? that bloodtest is pretty amazing. I always think that our grandparents had no way of finding out jntil they gave birth. technology is awesome.

I was told at 10 weeks you can find out. would you friend lie to you about it? @dimples you can do blood work.

@dimples a sonogram, usually you can tell sooner with boys.

How u find at 13? @leiromero I thought u had to be at least 15 or 20??
