I'm shy too and signed my boy up for those mommy and me classes. Since they're paid for upfront it makes me actually go.

They're fun. It's nice because I can interact with the other moms or just focus on my baby depending on how up to socializing I am that day. He gets socializing which is good, too. The one we go to is just for infants, but there's another place near us that does all kids under ten. I'll probably start taking him to story time at the library soon too.

I just looked into it. They have a free first time pass so I'm going to try it out and see if we like it. It's like a gym thing right? @nomaci,
