Did anybody watch This Morning? Please somebody explain to me why babies have to stay refacing till 15months old now?? When u can buy forward facing seats from 9months? CONFUSED!
@mother_of_humans bloody hell she is tall then hun as dans daughter 6 and stil in some 5-6 so i can imagion how tall she is and yes i have to agree it wudnt be safe at all as if something was to ever (such as head on collision) happened then the child wud be bent up and cud possible snap both legs and ankle.. 'doesnt bare thinking about' does not make sense what so ever
4 years of age! are u serious? my sons legs wud be up to the roof of the car if he was facing that way at that age! we had to buy a new car seat due to his legs being up the back seats loads.. if u was going on a long drive with a 3.5 yr old faceing rear it wud do nuffing but make them have problems with there posture when there older for sure
And is recommended they should be rear facing until 4 years old xx
@unknown1, ohhh right okay! It's so confusing lol! Why can't they all just go by the same thing! 🙈😂 @mimibear, okay girl let me know if u make sense of any of it lol
Same as Evelyn she wants to see everything. I'm not sure it will apply to old car seats if you have them only new ones :/ I'm gonna have a read up and see whether I can make sense of it x
It all depends on the car seat there on about the ones that go by height, it needs to be refacing if there head isn't in the right place, but most car seats go by weight and the weight ones you can have forward facing at like the age of 9months depending on the weight! :)
@mimibear, omg exactly! Seriously it makes no sense! This new laws from march 1st apparently not quite sure how they'll patrol it cos if they still sell car seats that can go forward facing from 6-9months then obvs people will buy them lol! I was literally looking this morning for my little girl cos she hates being rear facing cos she's nosey now I don't know what to do 🙈 x
The car seat we were going to get was front facing from 6 months so I'm confused too lol
My daughters nearly 9 months and is over 9kg so we have her front facing as her legs are to long to be rear facing x
