So my husband face timed my mother in law this evening so that our kids could talk to her and my father in law, my 4 yr old son naturally asked to talk to grandpa after talking to grandma for about 2 min so she gives my father in law the phone and I hear her say "if they don't wanna talk to me then why don't they just call your phone?!" Then after about 15 min of talking to his grandpa my son asked to talk to grandma again so my father in law went to give her the phone and she yelled "I don't wanna talk to them!" I was so hurt when I heard my son ask why grandma didn't wanna talk to him. Who does that?! He's 4 yrs old! Who in their right mind gets mad at a 4 yr old for wanting to talk to grandpa first?! I'm so mad at her but more hurt than anything. She's the type of woman who believes she is never in the wrong and likes to make big deals out of everything so I don't know if I should even bring it up to her and let her know that I didn't like how she treated my poor baby.
@dancer3_08, good maybe she'll start to understand she can't be the victim w her grandkids. Pathetic
Yea she actually does play victim all the time. I talked to my husband about it and he said he was also bothered by the way she acted towards our son and he's going to mention it to her
Let her son tell her. Don't do it. She plays victim. And it'll just start issues and she'll eventually forgive her son.
Does anyone like their in laws?
With all the posts about terrible in laws I was just wondering if anyone actually likes their in laws?!?! I love me in laws. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful immediate and extended family. My mil loves spending time with my boys. She comes over at least once a week and will sleep over. She gets up with the boys in the morning and let's my husband and I sleep in. My fil is a great man also. He's always coming over to visit and do some odd jobs around the house...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

My father in law passed away this morning. We are so devastated. He’s been dealing with some health issues for the past couple of months but we never expected this. We haven’t told our daughter yet. How do you tell a 4 year old that her grandpa died?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Sounds like MIL needs a time out. 😂
