My son stayed home with me for the first year cause he was a preemie. I didn't feel comfortable putting him in daycare. Well with that being said he's never been on a schedule. He's stays up damn near every night past 12 and sleeps late the days he doesn't go to daycare. Any tips on how to get him on a schedule and to bed early? He's 4 and will be starting school soon so I need to start like yesterday with trying to get him on a schedule and to bed at a decent time. TIA
I just tried putting my son to bed 10 minutes earlier each night. We tried sticking to a schedule of eating, bathing, reading a story and then laying down for bed. It took a few weeks but I was able to set an 8:30pm bedtime for my son. He sounds like your little one- basically set his own schedule and wouldn't go to bed until real late.
Anybody baby won't sleep in their bassinet? Is their a way we can make it More comfortable? I was thinking taking a fuzzy blanket and tucking it under the lil mat that's in there because every time I set him down he wakes up right away.. But if I put him in bouncer he will stay asleep or in our bed he stays asleep but I really wanna stop the bed and start bassinet. Any recommendations?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I see a lot of moms who have a hard time with their babies sleeping. One thing I have learned... Is consistency.
When he was first born, I just let him sleep whenever and wherever and it started to get to me. He had hard times sleeping so then I started a schedule. Where everyday around the same time, I would put him down in his crib. It took a few weeks for him to get used to his nap time and bed time but it worked. Now, around the same times, he gets sleepy automatically and I put him down a...
Anyone NOT want their hubby's/SO to stay at the hospital with you during your stay? I know it sounds harsh, but my husband stayed at the hospital during my stay when I had our son and he drove me crazy bc all he did was complain. Now he tells me (2 days before my csection) that he's going to stay and I don't want him to.
Thanks for your input. It is very much appreciated. I just don't see how he runs hard everyday and it doesn't wear his little butt out. He's very hyper. I'm a little worried about when he does start school. He's very smart. Know abc can almost count to 20. Knows how to spell his name his address and his colors. And he learned all that before her turned 3. So I'm praying he won't be bored. We are now working on how to write his name. He's beginning to recognize his letters and numbers. So we are working on that too. He also know about 6 different shapes.
