Ok so I'm really confused lately because my little one was starting to sleep better but 3 days into it he is worse than before. I have to put him in my baby carrier for him to sleep more than 30mins at a time. It's really tiring me out because he's crying most of the day. He's almost three months and they say they are suppose to start to sleep better around that age but I fear it will never happen. I'm one tired mama. Any advice?
I would notice my daughter would be extremely fussy when she would be going through growth spurts. She would feed like every 30 minutes and would wake up so often it was exhausting. I don't know how you will fell about this... but I was so tired I would nap and sometimes sleep with her next to me instead of her crib and just give her my breast when she wanted it. During those times it was the only way she would let me rest. You could get a little bassinet if you fear rolling over on him. She sleeps fine on her crib now, I think at times they just need mom more. She's teething at 3 months so isn't sleeping well again and she finds comfort in holding my husband or my hand to her chest. They just go through needy times but it doesn't mean they won't adjust. Also try keeping him awake longer and include a bath time routine to get him more comfortable. Perhaps it will help. Best of luck to you.
@dearsandy, my son already sleep on my chest because he was a preemie and I did kangaroo care with him but he won't sleep anywhere else now lol. He's never really let me put him down for more than 20 mins but now he's fighting sleep and eating until he can't hold out anymore. Even when I'm holding him he won't sleep for a long period of time. I get him to sleep an hour or an hour in a half only in my baby Bjorn. Maybe he's going through a growth spurt but it's worrying me that he's not sleeping that well and fighting eating as well. He's never fought eating this much before.
