Probably a dumb question ... But for those who have had a scheduled C section... what's the process to be numbed ? Is it an epidural ? I was in labor for 25 hours and ended up with a c section so I have had an epidural (well 3 because they wouldn't take!) but I was curious if that's the same thing I'll get with my scheduled C section.

Thanks guy! I assumed so but realized mine was done for labor not the c section I just ended up with one. So figured I'd ask!

The spinal and epidural are done the same, just a different type of medication is pushed for three spinal block. Same spot in the back. Good luck'
