I don't know why she so fussy. She's hungry all the time but then she spits up. She eats then cry 30 mins to 1 hour later showing signs of hunger again. I give her Paci which she spits out, talk to her, make sure she's changed, calm and soothes her that don't work! Only thing she wants is milk! So it seems... Am I over feeding her? Very frustrating at times
@loville1990 I've heard of that and good things about it
My son use to drink a special brand called Nutramigen. His doctor prescribed it to him. It really helped him a lot.
@clara_eakin @cubanese I'm going to try just breastfeeding and see how that goes and maybe I can get down to whts really going on. How much should I nurse??
@clara_eakin Tht all makes total sense what y'all saying. Better than what tht lactation consultant tried to explain to me @cubanese
@cubanese I felt like i wasn't producing as much breast milk as she needs. My breast never full and she only wants to nurse on the right breast.
@cubanese She gets 2oz of formula sometimes only eat 1oz. I nurse for like 10-15 minutes and every time she shows signs of hunger I put her on my breast
My son had that same problem when he was younger and i had to put karo syrup in his bottle. I guess they say its a old remedy but it worked, it saved my life cause i didn't know what to do he never took a paci. But yeah try Karo syrup with the milk works like a charm
Well she's still little her belly can't hold a lot and breast milk is digested so fast that it can seem like she is always hungry but it too can be a growth spurt and over feeding can be likely if you bottle feed because they don't always understand when they're full like they can on the boob
@mattsgurl4eva Thts another thing her father has acid reflux. I'm going to see of she has that. I've cut the dairy out but she still spits up but I'm hanging in just frustrated
I had to google those I never heard of them, but babies typically stop you when they are finished eating so I dont think you're over feeding her, I had the same issue with my 2nd son his tummy was very sensitive so we switched him from similac advanced to similac soy and he kept it down really good. Maybe you should try switching brands all together, both of them are enfamil and I had a doctor tell me enfamil was not the best formula for babies.
@cubanese I feel that also. What can I do ? I can't pump at all nothing comes out not even a ounce from both breast together
My first had acid reflux and acted like that. The nights were the worst! He'd scream like he was in pain for hours and act like he wanted to eat and then screamed after that. They have baby Zantac the doctor put him on and it made a huge difference! I was breastfeeding, but cutting out dairy helped a lot too. When he went to formula we did a more sensitive kind, but I can't remember the name. Hope she feels better soon. Those nights are so hard. Hang in there mama. 💙💙
@cubanese @clara_eakin She went from 6lbs 4 oz to 8lbs 8oz in 5 weeks and they said I'm over feeding her smh
thats how i felt too. But it did eventually pass and now he doesnt eat like that
@clara_eakin @cubanese Really? Kus It be making me feel bad thinking I'm doing something wrong! She spits up with both breastmilk and formula. 😔 😔
@terilees121 Girl I hope so kus this got me feeling like I'm doing something wrong
@tookie-birdsmom They have her on gentlease I believe thts how it spelled. I'm actually supplementing. I give her breastmilk which she ALWAYS throw back up then wait a while and give formula. I
She latches for at least 10 minutes then she let's go and not long after she crying or being fussy showing signs and I give her 2 oz formula! Feel like I'm doing something wrong but she's gaining weight well and nurse thinks I could be over feeding to why she spits up. At times I feel like its my breastmilk then at times I feel like its the formula and sometimes both. She was currently on Prosobee then the lady said she should be on gentlease but she still doing the same thing which is spitting up and always hungry
my son was the same way. as he got bigger the better everything got.
omg... I'm so depressed my child cries more than she doesnt..The only time she's not crying is when she's alsleep.. but she only sleeps 30 minutes each time. she won't sit in her carseat, her crib, pack n play , her swing, bouncer nothing!!! I have to hold ger 24/7 even when she's sleeping or else she will wake up. I'm tired I don't get any sleep nothing soothes her I don't even remember the last time I had enough time to bathe :'( I love her so much but this is so challenging
My 3 month old is throwing up all her milk ! I'm so tired of seeing her spit it all up..Her ped doesn't seem to mind because she's gaining weight! But this time she spitting up more then last few months ! Help what can I do ?
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Okay, so this is kind of urgent. My daughter has been doing this for a few months... Every time she gets upset, she hits her head on things like the floor, tables, shelves, etc... I've tried EVERYTHING and she won't stop. She's even bruised her head plenty of times hitting her head on things. I don't know what to do. Can someone give me some kind of advice? I want her to stop..
P.S. Don't mom bash me for this. I've never done what she's been doing. I don't wanna hear any judgement. If you have ...
@cubanese thanks girl this is very helpful and informative. I've been nursing every 3 hours. Age still fussy and spits up but not like she was at first within this short period of time I been just nursing
