Any suggestions on how to get your child (3 months old) to sleep on a flat surface, like a crib or pack n play? He will only sleep a max of 20 min on a flat surface but hours cuddling you, in a swing, or in a rock n play. He has learned to like his room and his crib (he used to scream every time the first month you walked in because he didn't want his diaper changed). He has never liked to be swaddled since the second he was born so that doesn't help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, maybe move the pack and play where he normally takes naps or sleep. My son is the opposite. He doesn't like to be cuddled but he will lay on the floor and play. He sleeps in his pack and play at night and naps in his rocker thing or swing during the day.

I read somewhere that a woman would put a heating pad in the crib to warm the mattress a bit. Obviously she'd take it out before it got too hot or before the baby went in, but the baby liked the warmness.

I had to make my daughter nap in her pack n play. You have to be consistent i didn't let her cry it out though if she cried I would rub her belly or pick her up then put her back once she was sleep. It's tiring at first but so worth it! She only slept on my chest or in her swing too until almost 4 months I thought I would never sleep alone again lol good luck!

@mz_young, I've tried starting with naps in his pack n play or his crib but lately he literally wakes the second you put him down in them🙄 He's never slept as much as he should so the second he wakes up from a nap, he's not going back down which makes it soooo hard to try to get him used to it.

HELP PLEASE!!! Wondering if anyone has practical tips for getting my baby to calm down and sleep in his crib. It is officially no longer safe for him to sleep in the rocker attachment of his pack n play. He is rolling from back to front and has reched the weight limit. However, when we try to get him to sleep flat in his crib, he freaks out. Does anyone have any unusual or creative tips for helping him become more at ease. He cried for like 2 hours last night and cried right through his first naptime today. Ive tried the usual shushing, singing, patting, etc. When he gets really upset I pick him up and try to calm him but it doesnt do much good. Just not sure what to do to help him get through this (while keeping my sanity intact).

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
